Games are now a widely acclaimed part of Art and global Culture. Still, many people not corresponding to the white male gamer nerd stereotype feel mis- and underrepresented as well as abused in Gaming Culture. This ignited a passionate discussion about what games and gaming could be and affirmed the perception of most game developers that an open minded and responsible game and game Development culture is needed: Game Culture as a safe place for everyone to work in and to interact with.

However there is still no Code of Conduct that clarifies how these set of values and ethics in work place, community management and the games themselves should look. The aim of the workshop is to produce a manifesto the workshop participants see as realistic and meaningful.

Participant requirements: None

Tools participants should bring: Pens, paper (will be provided if needed)

Intended audience: The workshop is intended for game industry professionals, journalists and political activists within gaming culture
